For the purpose of venturing into the Asian market and providing services to its local clientele, Stoll GmbH & Co. KG had earlier designated an agency for managing these operations. Later, Stoll embarked on setting up a service centre of global standards to cater to the training and the servicing needs of the region. Thus Stoll’s subsidiary in India came into existence with set goals and a defined purpose, while adding value to the performance suite of Stoll GmbH & Co. KG.
Stoll India was initially established as a service centre and was incorporated on 31st July 2003 as STOLL TEXTILE SERVICE Centre Private Limited. But subsequent to the restructuring of Stoll India ‘s operations during March 2007, Stoll’s subsidiary in India was rechristened as STOLL INDIA Private Limited with a comprehensive objective of leveraging India’s talented pool of technicians and engineers setting up a strong sales process thereby achieving operational synergy. The makeover of the company’s subsidiary was followed by its staff augmentation as well as the expansion of its Board by inducting new members to oversee the Indian operations.
Stoll India is headquartered in Noida(the Industrial hub of U.P.) and its corporate and registered office is situated in Mumbai, which is a business hub and considered as the financial capital of India.
This Stoll’s ancillary centre in Noida is well rigged with a full- fledged reconditioning plant in addition to well maintained Training Labs and class rooms for intensive training on Stoll Computerized Flat Bed Knitting machines and patterning systems.
Stoll India also has a showroom in Ludhiana along with a well-equipped Training centre to impart advanced training to service technicians working in customer locations in Ludhiana. Additionally, Stoll India also has a service support centre in Tirupur to cater to the Stoll customers in southern part of India.
